This T-shirt is characterized by a single-point design on the left chest. Over the square patchwork inspired by origami, the brand’s emblematic sashiko is applied in a lattice pattern, adding a simple yet impactful accent. The left sleeve subtly features an embroidered initial of the brand name, showcasing attention to detail.

【Silhouette and Sizing】
The silhouette is a relaxed fit with moderate room in the width. The length is set to a standard measure, creating a perfect balance that is not too loose. This sizing is versatile, suitable for wearing alone or as an inner layer.

【Material Texture and Comfort】
The fabric is a sturdy cotton jersey with notable thickness and durability. Despite its toughness, it provides a soft and comfortable feel.
The core sashiko design is inspired by vintage fabrics and rural workwear collected by designer Manabu Tsuyoshi. He carefully analyzed traditional sashiko’s stitch spacing, thread thickness, and geometric patterns, then reconstructed them using modern production techniques. Manufacturing takes place in Okayama Prefecture, known as the denim capital, utilizing special sewing machines and jacquard looms to express the intricate relief.
The indigo dye used on the sashiko fades first through friction from wear and washing, producing a contrasting “ataris” effect. This results in a three-dimensional, deep aging process that flat fabric cannot replicate. Originally a mending technique to reinforce cloth under harsh conditions for long use, sashiko is elevated here into contemporary daily wear, embodying the brand’s philosophy in one garment.
