The classic derby shoes [992], launched alongside the one-piece leather back-zip boots [988] since the brand's early days, serve as iconic staples. This pair is based on the [992] but improved with a slightly wider width. The silhouette and appearance when worn hardly differ from the standard 992 model, maintaining GUIDI’s unique minimal and sophisticated form.

【Fit & Comfort】
Designed to provide extra room at the widest part of the foot near the base of the toes, it greatly reduces pressure on both sides, offering a more relaxed wearing experience. The decreased contact with the foot also lessens the strain on the leather during wear, providing the practical advantage of better shape retention.

【Materials & Craftsmanship】
Using GUIDI's signature "Object Dyeing (product dyeing)" method, the dye deeply penetrates the core of the leather. To maximize the natural texture, distinctive "slip" feel, and the aging process where tannin-tanned leather develops a rich patina, no color-fixing treatments are applied. Therefore, the material’s nature may show fine scratches, wrinkles, and uneven coloration, all of which are incorporated into the design as a unique expression typical of an artisan brand.

【Precautions When Wearing】
Due to the nature of product dyeing, especially during initial wear, friction and moisture may cause color transfer to clothing or socks. For several months after purchase, avoid pairing with white or light-colored items or take special care. To reduce color transfer, it is recommended to apply a "leather conditioning and waterproof spray" to the entire shoe before use. The fine fluorine membrane repels external moisture while suppressing dye bleeding from within, significantly reducing risks.
