Based on the brand's most classic derby shoe “992,” finished with a single sole. This model uses a special last with a wider width called the “X” model, maintaining the traditional design while enhancing wearing comfort. The authentic style with shoelaces blends seamlessly with any styling.

【Silhouette & Fit】
The silhouette looks almost identical to the original “992,” but the widest part at the base of the toes is designed with extra room for a relaxed fit without pressure. This prevents the toes from pressing against the sides of the shoe, avoiding the upper from showing toe shapes and maintaining a neat form over time. The heel is about 3cm high, adding a natural style-up effect. The toe shape is classic rounded.

【Material Texture & Comfort】
The upper is made of horse leather, known for its fine, supple texture. The pale, delicate beige color adds lightness and elegance to the typically weighty GUIDI atmosphere. Both the lining and insole use leather for a gentle, enveloping fit. The outsole is durable genuine leather, and the heel is a stacked layer of leather, allowing the shoes to gradually adapt to the wearer’s feet with aging.

【Product Characteristics & Precautions】
GUIDI’s products are handmade individually using a unique manufacturing method that maximizes the material’s texture. Therefore, you may notice natural marks, wrinkles, or color unevenness on the leather, which should be understood as part of the charm of genuine leather. The leather is dyed deeply with a special technique without color sealing, resulting in rich tones that naturally age beautifully. However, friction and water exposure may cause color transfer to clothing (especially socks and pant hems). We recommend avoiding pairing with white or light-colored items during initial wear. Applying leather care and waterproof sprays before use can somewhat reduce the risk of color transfer.
