The PL2 is based on the iconic front-zip boot “PL1” but features a longer shaft. The bold front zipper running down the center of the upper is a signature brand icon. The layered leather creates a voluminous rounded toe with a slightly upturned tip, giving it an overwhelming presence. The upper is made from luxurious one-piece leather with almost no seams, letting you experience the raw appeal of the leather itself. A practical pull-tab at the heel collar and a zipper pull engraved with the brand logo embody the artisan brand’s philosophy down to the finest details.

【Silhouette & Fit】
The last used is distinctively sharp, characteristic of the PL series. The elongated shaft is slimly designed to contour along the ankle line, creating a neat look while providing solid support. Constructed using the durable Goodyear welt method, the insole gradually compresses with wear, shaping perfectly to the wearer’s foot. The sole is single-layered with a double heel, delivering stable comfort.

【Material Texture & Wearability】
Full-grain leather is used, rich with natural texture. The natural grain remaining on the surface creates a unique character for each pair. Vegetable-tanned leather, carefully processed over time, deepens in rich, glossy color as you wear it, growing into a special pair unique to its owner. Thanks to the brand’s identity in object dyeing (product dyeing), dye penetrates deeply into the core, allowing you to fully enjoy the leather’s inherent smoothness and rich aging.

【Product Characteristics and Precautions】
GUIDI products are purposely untreated with color-fixing processes to maximize the natural texture and aging of the leather. As a result, fine scratches, wrinkles, and color unevenness may be visible and should be appreciated as part of the design. Due to product dyeing, early wear stages may result in color transfer onto clothing or socks, especially with white or light-colored items―please take care. Using leather conditioning and waterproof sprays before use can reduce the risk of color transfer.
