【Design】
A version of JULIUS’s iconic gas-mask cargo pants made from rugged 13 oz denim. Large overlapping cargo pockets on both legs create overwhelming visual presence. Long tourniquet-style ropes, a signature brand detail, hang around the pockets and can be left exposed, used to tie the leg length and alter the silhouette, or stored inside the pockets for a more minimal appearance. Adjustment buttons at the backs of the knees and hems can dramatically alter the shape. Internal straps inside the legs also allow fine length adjustment. Button parts faithfully reproduce details from early versions. The waist uses a button fly and belt loops, while buttoned flap pockets are placed at both sides of the rear.
【Silhouette / Size】
With all adjustment buttons open, the pants fall in a powerful wide-straight line from the waist to the hems. Fastening the buttons behind the knees and at the hems narrows the lower leg and creates distinctive sculptural volume through gathered fabric. One pair therefore offers two dramatically different expressions.
【Material Texture / Wearing Feel】
Made from 13 oz denim woven with black yarn in both warp and weft. The fabric has substantial thickness and firmness, gradually conforming to the body and developing character with wear. Unlike conventional denim that often uses white weft yarn, both directions are dyed black at the yarn stage, keeping both sides deeply black and allowing the fabric to age without exposing white yarn. The diagonal twill ridges characteristic of 100% cotton denim remain clearly visible.
■ Recommended Wearing Season
【Suitable Temperatures】All seasons
The substantial 13 oz cotton denim is versatile enough for year-round wear.
・Spring / Autumn: Combine with cut-and-sew tops, shirts, or light outerwear and let the pants become the focus.
・Summer: The heavier denim is climate-dependent but can be worn with a lightweight top.
・Winter: The dense fabric blocks wind well and pairs strongly with knitwear, heavy outerwear, and boots.
※Comfort may vary depending on humidity, wind conditions, and individual sensitivity. Please use this information as a general guide.
