【Design】
A special work jacket created through KHOKI’s official collaboration with Disney. The construction draws attention to traditional handcraft techniques such as kantha and suzani and uses highly complex collage work and cutting. Across the front and back, seven different physical patch fabrics, quilt patches, and appliqu_ embroidery are layered rather than merely printed, creating a three-dimensional surface with varying thickness. Cow-leather reinforcement is also added to high-wear areas such as the elbows and pocket edges, increasing structural durability.
【Silhouette / Size】
Because the jacket carries a wide range of patchwork, heavy embroidery, and varying fabric stiffness, the overall garment has substantial weight and uneven rigidity. The body and armholes are therefore designed with generous room to preserve mobility. At the same time, three-dimensional cutting controls excess volume around the shoulders and sleeves and reduces friction when layering.
【Material Texture / Wearing Feel】
The base outer and lining fabrics use high-strength 100% cotton capable of withstanding the intensive embroidery and patchwork process. The jacket combines materials with very different thermal and shrinkage properties, including hemp, linen, ramie, polyurethane-blend yarn, and wool-linen textiles. Quilted patches containing polyester insulation create localized insulating layers, resulting in complex and uneven warmth unlike a conventional single-layer cotton jacket.
■ Recommended Wearing Season
Although cotton forms the base, wool blends and insulated quilt patches provide more warmth than a typical cotton jacket and make the piece suitable across a wide range of seasons.
・Spring / Autumn: Creates a strong statement simply worn over a cut-and-sew top or shirt, while providing useful comfort on cooler mornings and evenings.
・Early Winter: Add heavy knitwear or a sweatshirt underneath to use it as a main outer layer into the beginning of winter.
