This is a work expressing KHOKI's iconic "3D Cutting Series" in the form of painter pants. It intentionally resists the natural flow of fabric under gravity, pursuing a unique balance through meticulous construction lines. By adding fabric and applying twists and distortions to a standard pants structure, it creates a one-of-a-kind three-dimensional silhouette that responds to body motion. The pattern is especially designed to beautifully follow the body’s structure when viewed from the side. The typically rugged details and silhouette of painter pants as workwear are refined into an extremely sophisticated impression through the brand’s interpretation.
【Silhouette & Fit】
While maintaining the relaxed volume typical of painter pants, darts and paneling create a calculated three-dimensional form when worn. Whether stationary or walking, they display beautiful draping and shading from all angles, delivering a structured silhouette that stands apart from ordinary wide pants.
【Material Texture & Wear Comfort】
The fabric is a tough denim suggestive of workwear origins. After sulfur dyeing, vintage processing lends a worn-in depth of color and natural texture despite being brand new. The fabric has a solid and reassuring feel, softened by processing, with aging characteristics that further adapt the pants to the wearer over time.
