While following formal details of the tailored jacket, such as structured lapels and button arrangements, the hem is deliberately cut straight, skillfully softening the rigidity of traditional garments. Additionally, hand-made elements like patchwork and appliqu? add a warm craft feeling, expressing KHOKI’s uniquely distinctive world view.
【Silhouette & Fit】
The theme of the 26-27 AW collection is "Things that were boring in childhood," that is, the tight feeling of formalwear felt in childhood is sublimated into design with a modern interpretation. The shoulder and body widths are intentionally roomy, overall designed with a rounded over-volume shape. While offering a relaxed fit that does not cling to the body line, the carefully calculated pattern work achieves a perfect balance that does not look sloppy.
【Material Texture & Wearability】
The material luxuriously uses two types of fabrics with different textures. One is 100% wool compressed wool characterized by a warm texture. The other is a special bonded fabric originally produced by the brand. This bonded fabric is made into one fabric by a sophisticated technique of weaving two different fabrics together, allowing the wearer to enjoy the characteristics of each material simultaneously. Woven at high density, it has firmness and resilience, while also possessing the warmth unique to wool.
