The fabric undergoes a traditional "basket dyeing" process where it is steamed and dyed inside a basket after base dyeing, resulting in unique and deep expressions on each piece. The individual differences caused by this dyeing step add to the unique charm of the product.

Cut into a large square, it creates rich drapes and three-dimensional volume when wrapped around the neck. Due to the dyeing process characteristics, slight individual size variations occur, which are part of the design, enhancing its one-of-a-kind texture.

The material is 100% wool muslin fabric produced in the Enshu region of Shizuoka Prefecture, known for its textiles. It is remarkably light for wool with a soft, airy feel.
