The front features 8 to 9 small nut buttons (with shell backing), creating a classical and intricate impression. Four pockets are asymmetrically arranged: a flap pocket on the left chest, a discreet slit pocket on the right, and flap pockets on both sides near the bottom, adding subtle complexity to the quiet silhouette. The neckline and armholes are roughly finished with cut-off edges and intentional fraying, complemented by a square stitch at the upper back, showcasing the maker’s aesthetic attention to detail. The standout feature is six long fabric straps extending from the underarm area, allowing the silhouette to be tightened when tied, while when left loose, they add unique movement and accent to layered styles. 【Material Texture & Wear Feel】
This original fabric is woven in the renowned wool fabric production area of Bishu, Aichi Prefecture, blending 75% silk with 25% wool. Combining “fallen silk skein threads” with “2/48 strong-twist wool,” the woven pattern features a deep, rich hue. The silk provides smooth drape while wool adds crispness, with noticeable surface slubs and neps creating an intentionally rough yet sophisticated, dry, and deep texture. The lining is a cupro-cotton and linen blend, ensuring smooth arm movement and comfortable wear.
