Made from polyester deshin with an inkjet print, combining details reminiscent of vintage French military flight jackets with a three-dimensional, textured surface.
Recreates not only the flap pocket on the left chest, but also the pen pocket and cigar pocket on the left sleeve.
On the back, the lining of a frock coat―daytime formal menswear from the mid-19th to early 20th century―is printed, portraying two opposing elements at once: military-derived functionality and the dignity of social occasions.
The base is the A-2 flight jacket adopted by the U.S. Army Air Corps in 1931.
By replacing the heavy cord―normally constructed from rigid leather―with a delicate, stretchable spiky material, it loosens authority and adds humor and lightness.
Before wearing, it is compact enough to shrink to the size of your palm, but it flexibly expands to fit the body, forming a personalized fit for each wearer.
With reduced contact against the skin due to the uneven surface, it feels dry and breathable, offering comfortable wear even in spring and summer.
