【Design】
Based on a vintage bomber jacket and reinterpreted through MASU’s contemporary perspective. The chest is hand-painted with the letters “VC,” symbolizing both the Victorian jacket that influenced the designer and the brand’s coined concept of “Victorian Casual.” Although the garment is not officially reversible, MASU’s styling imagery also proposes wearing it inside out, allowing the smooth cupro lining to become visible for a different expression.
【Silhouette / Size】
Designed with an easy-to-style mid length and generous room through the body and armholes for an oversized silhouette. Despite the volume created by the padding, the jacket remains surprisingly light in wear. The roomy construction comfortably accommodates thick knitwear and sweatshirts, making it well suited to winter layering.
【Material Texture / Wearing Feel】
The outer fabric is MASU’s original velvet blending rayon, cotton, and polyester. Cotton and polyester are dyed in contrasting tones to create a chambray structure, producing visual depth, while raised rayon pile adds the smooth touch and refined luster characteristic of velvet. The color shifts subtly depending on the light, creating an exceptionally rich surface. The lining is 100% cupro for smooth sleeve movement and comfortable wear.
