This piece is released from Maison MIHARA YASUHIRO’s sustainable line “General Scale.” The brand name carries the wish for consideration of the global environment to become the "General Scale" or common standard. When the designer Mr. Mihara saw vintage combat boots, he was impressed by their worn look that rendered them unwearable, which inspired the line’s mission to create “vintage shoes that can be worn.” The philosophy of reviving the beauty of times past in the present breathes life into these original products. Additionally, some materials used are environmentally conscious.
