These denim pants feature Kyoto's "Roketsuzome," a traditional Japanese dyeing technique with over 1000 years of history, known for its extremely high craftsmanship. The core of the design is this technique, which dyes fabric while shielding it with melted wax; most of the process relies on artisans’ handwork. Because of this, mass production is extremely difficult, and each piece is a unique work with distinct expressions. The uneven dyeing and bleeding caused by wax resist create natural gradations that are not contrived, expressing quiet and profound depth.

The fabric adopts 12oz cotton denim woven in Okayama, a famous denim production area. The medium weight―not too heavy, not too light―makes it highly versatile for wear throughout the seasons. Through repeated wear and washing, the fabric softens and adapts to your body, allowing you to enjoy special aging unique to the fusion of Roketsuzome's expression and the natural fading of denim, exclusive to the wearer.
