【Design】
The design features uniquely embedded brand-signature goggle lenses along the hood’s rim. The lens parts are detachable and can be secured folded back, combining visibility with wind protection functionality as gear. On the left chest, there is a sharply styled diagonal chest pocket, and at the front bottom, three-dimensional handwarmer pockets. The front closure uses a double zipper with an inner storm flap to physically block cold air from entering through zipper gaps.
【Silhouette & Fit】
Considering the natural bulkiness of down, the jacket features carefully calculated three-dimensional cutting to avoid a bulky appearance. The shoulder and sleeve area employs pattern making that does not restrict arm movement, ensuring ease of motion. The length is short enough to cover the waist moderately, allowing the hem not to interfere during various activities, providing a light and agile feel.
【Material Texture & Wear Feel】
The fabric is C.P. COMPANY’s proprietary micro ripstop “D.D. Shell,” woven densely with ultra-fine 7 denier nylon yarn. The “Direct Down Injection” method injects down directly between the outer and lining fabrics without a down pack, allowing down balls to fully expand and efficiently retain warmed dead air (static air layer). This delivers exceptional insulation despite the lightweight design. The garment dyeing process for down items, performed after sewing, causes subtle puckering at seams due to differential shrinkage, creating rich visual depth. The dye bath includes durable water repellent (DWR) additives, providing excellent water resistance without compromising the fabric’s natural breathability.
