The long-established footwear craftsman “MARUTAMIBOND” from Bishu, Gion, Kyoto, has accumulated extensive knowledge on making zori sandals and has modernly reinterpreted Japan’s traditional “beauty in utility,” attracting attention as a new-value “ohakimono.”
Thanks to the tradition and skills unique to MARUTAMIBOND, combined with the original function of zori to prevent hallux valgus, the design was shaped into a beach sandal form, making it easy to incorporate into modern lifestyles.

Recommended Wearing Method
“OJOJO NAITO” recommends wearing with about 2cm of the heel exposed, following Japanese culture. When actually worn, a size that allows the heel to slightly show is easier and more comfortable to walk in.
