Prototypes 25-26AW Autumn Winter Collection.
A crewneck sweatshirt made from brushed-back jersey.
It is a special item created in collaboration with the American military brand 〈ALPHA〉.
The ALPHA brand logo is placed on the back, offering a contemporary reinterpretation of military functional aesthetics.
The soft, drapey jersey is a textile that can be seen as the archetype of sweatshirts and hoodies, and a symbol of sportswear and loungewear.
By deliberately applying a tailoring approach that disrupts the material's softness and drape, it is transformed into a boxy silhouette as the name suggests.
This is one of the techniques favored by designers descended from the VETEMENTS lineage, who excel at reconstructing clothing codes.
Unusually for a sweatshirt, the front includes a pocket, and the shorter length pairs well with wider pants. The brushed-back finish provides excellent insulation, making it a reliable piece for winter wear.
