This eyewear, developed in collaboration with ZIGGY CHEN, features a new magnetic clip-on mechanism. Based on a classic, small round silhouette, it combines an antique steampunk-inspired charm with a modern clip-on mechanism layered into the design. The clip-on itself is an independent design element that, when attached, creates a unique expression characteristic of RIGARDS frames. The nose pads have a soft curved, upward-spreading mountain shape and combine with a soft rubber material to provide comfortable wear.
【Silhouette & Fit】
The design uses a small, face-friendly round silhouette. Adding the clip-on creates depth and enhances the three-dimensional feel of the whole frame. Thanks to the functional clip-on mechanism, it is possible to smoothly switch uses according to need.
【Material Texture & Wearing Comfort】
The frame is made from titanium, which is lightweight and highly durable. Compared to copper frames, it has a plain texture that enhances practicality. Handcrafted by artisans, each piece boasts a unique detailed expression. The clip-on parts are given a textured finish with irregularities that contrast sharply with the sleek texture of the main frame.
