This glass holder chain is a collaboration work between RIGARDS and the designer brand UMA WANG. While inheriting the lineage of the brand's existing chains, each rectangular part is hand-distorted one by one to construct a unique link design that, although metal, has an organic and soft expression. The irregular series of rings, which clearly distinguish it from industrial products, contain an artistic attempt to express the texture of fabric in metal, and craftsmanship is evident even in the details. Rubber attachments are placed at both ends for attaching to the temples of eyewear.

【Material Texture】
The material used is copper, which is finished in a matte and deep black color by oxidation treatment on the surface to suppress gloss. This processing gives it a serene antique-like atmosphere even in its new state. Notably, the aging change that occurs with repeated use is remarkable. The black surface gradually peels off from the easily worn edges, revealing the original color of copper underneath, growing into a tasteful expression like the “brown core” seen in vintage leather goods. You can enjoy the process as it transforms into a special one-of-a-kind item for the owner.
