【Design】
The center of the pants is classic slacks, and towards the sides it smoothly transitions to military-derived cargo pants within a single structure. This innovative piece is a hallmark of TAAKK’s special weaving technology, connecting different materials and details without seams. The coexistence of the elegant impression and functionality, two opposing elements, within one garment is striking. The hem features a drawcord allowing the silhouette to become rounded when tightened, enabling styling reminiscent of jogger pants.
【Silhouette & Fit】
Based on a nearly straight silhouette with moderate room for a relaxed fit. At the same time, it features sharp lines without excessive looseness, creating a refined silhouette that balances well with various tops.
【Material Texture & Wearability】
Using a unique original fabric embodying TAAKK’s philosophy that "fabric construction = design." This fabric was developed not by surface finishing, but by designing the fabric’s "weave" structure itself. The inside of the pants is a chic wool-based slacks fabric, gradually changing towards the outside into a glossy nylon cargo fabric, with the fabric structure itself altering. This unprecedented fabric development was realized by the designer pioneering a new factory and building a strong cooperative system with craftsmen on site. In coordination with the design, the fabric thickness also varies, with meticulous structure that appeals not only visually but also to the sense of touch.
■ Recommended Wearing Season
Based on a medium-thick fabric blended with wool, suitable mainly from autumn to winter and early spring.
・Autumn, Spring: Works as main bottoms paired with cut-and-sew tops, shirts, and light knitwear.
・Winter: Matches well with heavy outerwear, adaptable to a variety of coordinated styles. On extremely cold days, wearing inner tights is recommended for adjustment.
