Rather than relying on printing or embroidery, this zip-up blouson showcases TAAKK’s advanced textile technique of layering fabrics with different characteristics and using their contrasting shrinkage to create a raised pattern. Inspired by motifs found on Jomon-period pottery, the design gains quiet yet unmistakable presence through the depth and relief of the fabric itself. A minimal blouson construction allows the richly expressive textile to remain the focus.
【Silhouette / Size】
The silhouette is boxy and slightly slim, with a deliberately shortened length. The compact proportions are combined with a structured form that does not cling too closely to the body, creating a modern and refined impression. The armholes and body retain moderate room while maintaining an overall sharp balance.
【Material Texture / Wearing Feel】
The outerwear fabric is relatively lightweight, giving the piece an easy and agile feel.
