【Design】
An original pattern featuring additional panels along both sides constructs the silhouette three-dimensionally. When worn, the central portions of the panels―secured at the waist and hem―open and create rich drape in response to the wearer’s movement. Generous fabric is also used around the knees, where deep tucks are applied from both the front and back, producing incidental folds that form a sculptural shape even when standing still. Elasticated components are positioned inside the hems so that the fabric gathers naturally around the feet without dragging on the ground. The back of the waist is elasticated for comfort, while belt loops allow styling with a belt. Even the side seams are elevated into part of the design, concentrating the brand’s sophisticated pattern-making within a single pair of trousers.

The overall silhouette is wide and richly voluminous, yet the precisely engineered pattern changes expression depending on the viewing angle and creates exceptionally beautiful lines. Velvet’s natural fall and moderate firmness integrate perfectly with the structured pattern, emphasizing clear shadows and elegant contours as the wearer moves.

Although velvet has a rich seasonal character, the fabric is not overly thick and can therefore be worn across a relatively broad range of seasons.
