An inventive design featuring a continuous change in materials and details within a single garment: a light cotton shirt at the center and a formal wool jacket toward the sides and outer sleeves. Unlike docking by sewing parts together, it achieves a seamless transition by changing the weaving structure itself. This piece condenses TAAKK's true brilliance, unifying different garment characters into one structure.
【Silhouette and Fit】
Adopts a regular fit based on standard shirts and jackets. With pattern making that excludes excessive decoration, it constructs a refined, elongated silhouette that beautifully shows the body's lines.
【Texture and Comfort】
The center part uses a cotton shirt fabric with a high-density typewriter-like texture, gradually transitioning outward to a standard thickness wool jacket fabric. This textile seamlessly transitions thickness and texture within one fabric, offering surprising visual and tactile sensations.
Surpassing the limits of surface finishing expressions, TAAKK shifted its philosophy to designing structure from the weaving stage itself. To realize this vision, considered impossible with existing technology, TAAKK proactively developed factories without appointments, found hints in past archives, engaged craftsmen on site, and succeeded in unprecedented special fabric development. The 'clothing without boundaries' connecting different materials without seams eloquently tells the brand's philosophy that designing the fabric structure itself is design.
