[Design]
Based on the US ARMY M40 denim jacket adopted in 1940. In contrast to the decorative coveralls seen in civilian products of the time, it features details that strip away ornamentation and pursue only practicality. The slightly smaller, functional 2-pocket design and front button closure create a rugged, rational appearance typical of "issue items," exuding a charm unique to military wear.

[Silhouette and Sizing]
It features a relaxed coverall silhouette that doesn't constrict the body. The fabric is a slightly lighter 10.2oz, which reduces the stiffness and rigidity typical of denim jackets, providing a light and stress-free wearing experience.

[Material Texture and Feel]
To reproduce the characteristic "roughness" and "nep feel" of vintage US ARMY denim, we developed a 10.2oz original black denim using recycled cotton for both the warp and weft. The uneven slub that occurs when re-spinning cotton that has already been made into yarn faithfully recreates the atmosphere of the era. Furthermore, by using vat-dyed gray yarn for the weft, a unique, deep, and sunken hue is added to the indigo's color. While the fabric is sanforized (pre-shrunk), the moisture content is intentionally kept low to maintain a three-dimensional, bumpy texture similar to raw denim. Additionally, since it is not skew-processed (to prevent twisting), natural twisting will occur in the sleeves and body with repeated wear and washing. This is a piece that allows you to enjoy the "inevitable imperfection" born from the constraints of the time, setting it apart from uniformly finished denim, as it ages.

■ Recommended Seasons for Wear
The light 10.2oz denim fabric makes it suitable for wear across a wide range of seasons.

・Spring, Autumn: Ideal as a main outerwear piece over a cut-and-sew or shirt. Its light feel makes it very useful during the change of seasons.
・Winter: As it is not bulky, it can also be used as an inner layer under a coat or heavy outerwear.
