These Seamens Trousers are based on a pair of vintage 1940s USN DECK PANTS from TCB JEANS' own collection. Vintage details are faithfully reproduced down to the finest points, including the distinctive belt loop sewing specifications, double-stitched front pockets, and urea buttons with thread channels that capture the atmosphere of the era. Additionally, the stencils found on vintage pieces are applied by hand to each pair, adding depth to the product.

[Silhouette and Sizing]
The silhouette is faithfully traced from the original vintage, featuring a slightly relaxed straight fit characteristic of military wear of the era. It strikes an exquisite balance, being rugged yet adaptable to modern styles. The thread count and color for sewing are also carefully selected for each section to ensure thorough reproducibility.

[Material Texture and Feel]
The fabric is an original, approximately 10oz denim. It uses "natural slub" yarn, which has an appealing natural unevenness and texture, distinct from the uniform slub yarns produced by modern computer-controlled methods. Woven slowly on old-fashioned power looms, it creates the simple and rich expression characteristic of vintage denim. To withstand heavy wear, yarn-dyed gray thread is used for sewing. As you wear and wash them, the sewing thread fades along with the fabric, and the puckering (roping effect from shrinkage at the seams) becomes more prominent, allowing you to enjoy a unique aging process.
