Based on a vintage denim jacket from the 1930s, this piece faithfully reproduces period specifications down to the smallest details. The single left-chest pocket features the sharply defined flap characteristic of the era and includes a red tab. Most notably, sizes 40 and above use a center-back seam known as a T-back or split-back construction. This detail originated from the production limitations of the time, when fabric wide enough for larger sizes was difficult to secure, and is now considered exceptionally rare in the vintage market. The sewing also traces the powerful path of period double-needle machines. Details such as the triangular crossover stitching created by lifting and pivoting the needle at key points evoke the work of craftsmen from the era.

A classic, relaxed fit with generously sized armholes. The wide sleeves create the rugged presence associated with vintage workwear. The carefully considered pattern also looks excellent when intentionally sized up and worn with dropped shoulders for a more contemporary style.

【Material Texture / Wearing Feel】
The material is 14.1 oz loomstate denim slowly woven on vintage shuttle looms in Kojima, Okayama, a region known internationally as a center of denim production. Made from 100% richly textured American cotton, it receives no modern finishing processes such as sanforization or singeing, allowing the natural unevenness and coarse texture of the denim to remain fully visible. The fabric is initially rigid with residual starch, but repeated wear and washing gradually raise the surface fibers and allow it to conform to the body. Its fading develops as fine points rather than lines, recreating the beautiful aging associated with vintage denim. The selvedge also uses a special combination of plain and twill weaving characteristic of the 1930s, reflecting meticulous attention to every detail.
