Born in 1977 under the name “Style 36,” this is VANS’ historic second skate shoe. Known as the first model to feature the brand’s iconic side stripe, also known as the Jazz Stripe, it has established an unshakable position since being renamed Old Skool in the early 1990s. This version follows the archive design, using sidewalls and foxing tape with a glossy finish and more thickness than usual. It creates a classic yet substantial presence.

【Silhouette / Size】
Features a universal and complete form rooted in skate shoes. The last has both sharpness and moderate volume, blending naturally into any outfit, from casual styling to a relaxed accent in dressier looks. The padded collar lining gently holds the ankle and provides a stable fit.

【Material Texture / Wearing Feel】
The upper combines durable 8oz canvas with high-quality cow suede. Full-grain leather is used for the collar lining at the opening, combining comfort against the foot with a sense of luxury. The shoelaces are made from 100% cotton with a pleasant texture. The insole uses the new high-rebound Polyurethane foam “Sola Foam ADC (All-Day Comfort),” made with 30% bio-based material. It provides lasting comfort that resists fatigue even when worn all day. The outsole is the brand’s signature rubber waffle outsole, known for its strong grip.
