VANS' "Old Skool 36" is the second pair of skate shoes from VANS, introduced in 1977 and originally called "Style 36."
This model was the first to feature the iconic side stripe (jazz stripe) and was renamed "Old Skool" in the early '90s, officially recognized as a classic shoe.
Features of this model include the iconic side stripe, high-quality 8-ounce canvas and cow suede upper, full-grain leather padded collar lining, and 100% cotton laces.
It also features gloss-coated sidewalls and foxing tape that follow the archive design, high-resilience polyurethane foam "SOLA FOAM ADC" made from 30% bio-based materials, and VANS' signature rubber waffle outsole.
Due to years of research and improvements, this shoe offers all-day comfort.
It is a pair that fuses classic design with modern technology.
