Presented as LOOK29 in the Yohji Yamamoto POUR HOMME 2026-27 Autumn/Winter collection, this raglan double coat strongly reflects the brand’s world view. The base fabric is a rough-textured herringbone woven from thick 1/10 spun yarns in both warp and weft. Wool slivers (fiber bundles of wool) are loosely and densely arranged on top and needle-punched across the entire surface. By intentionally leaving an irregular, uneven finish and layering the processing, a deep expression with subtle shadows where the base herringbone pattern faintly appears and a soft, felt-like napped texture coexist, creating remarkable depth. Each piece has a unique texture, truly embodying the warmth and artisanal atmosphere of handcrafted work.
