【Design】
This 6-button long jacket emits a majestic presence and was presented as LOOK39 in the Yohji Yamamoto POUR HOMME 2026-27 Fall/Winter collection. The bold leather panels from the collar to the front placket serve as the central accent in the design. Tightening the attached waist belt changes the silhouette, allowing for versatile styling.
【Silhouette & Fit】
Set to be slightly oversized, the silhouette evokes a classic long coat. While featuring the brand’s distinctive volume, the calculated pattern making creates an elegant drape that follows the body line during wear. The longer length produces a heavy yet modern atmosphere.
【Material Texture & Wear Feel】
The body uses fabric woven in a twill weave with worsted yarns in both vertical and horizontal directions. Additionally, milled finishing (fulling process) tightens the weave, resulting in a calm, deep expression and a fluffy, soft texture. The panels use the natural leather of Ezo deer native to Japan’s Hokkaido, tanned carefully with vegetable tannins composed of natural plant-based components in a process called “Soft Vegetable Tanning.” This leather is very precious, characterized by the unique surface texture of the Ezo deer and a supple feel.
