This military pants with striking leather accents was presented as LOOK39 in the Yohji Yamamoto POUR HOMME 2026-27 Fall/Winter collection. The leather parts that serve as the design’s focal point use natural Ezo deer hide from Hokkaido. This very precious leather has a unique grain distinctive to this Japanese native species. This rare hide is tanned over time with plant-based natural tannins through a “Soft Vegetable Tanning” process, resulting in a supple and deep texture.
【Silhouette and Fit】
It features a tapered silhouette gently narrowing from the waist to the hem. While retaining the volume derived from military items, it creates a clean line without bulk, making it well balanced with various tops and outerwear.
【Material Texture and Wear Feel】
It uses the brand’s original army gabardine fabric that reproduces the tough texture of vintage military fabric. It is thicker than ordinary wool gabardine, with a heavy texture that prominently shows the twill surface weave.
