Today, we are introducing items from
sulvam,
available at FASCINATE_THE R (Osaka Shinsaibashi), styled with pieces from the 25AW collection.
The main item selected is a damaged knit that symbolizes the sulvam collection, and the other items used are also selected from the same brand.
Please enjoy to the end.
Asymmetrical Shirt Based on an Avant-Garde Embellished Knit and a Classical Dress Shirt
Among the items in the 25–26AW season, this avant-garde knit stands out for its distinctive design.
Looped stitches and cut ribbons add three-dimensional decoration to the knit, while drop stitches create intentional openwork patterns.
Between the knitted stitches, a ladder-like openwork pattern is formed by removing threads.
When layered over a white T-shirt or long-sleeve T-shirt, the contrast becomes distinct, allowing the inner color to pop as an accent.
This peek of color from within brings a sense of lightness to the entire outfit.
The relaxed silhouette with dropped shoulders creates space between body and fabric, producing beautiful drape with movement.
When our staff tried it on, size S had a perfect waist-length fit, but due to the short overall length, sizing up to M still maintained a good oversized look.
For those wanting to enjoy layering, we recommend size S. For those who want the item to be the main piece in their coordination, size M is ideal.
The fabric is a loosely knitted low-gauge blend of 50% cotton, 47% rayon, and 3% silk.
Thanks to the rayon blend, it offers excellent drape, and the low-gauge structure creates air layers between the fabric, making it comfortable to wear alone in spring and autumn (around 18–23°C), and easy to layer over shirts or thermals in winter without feeling tight.
The side touching the skin feels smooth due to the rayon and doesn't cause itchiness, making it stress-free to wear for extended periods.
With its eye-catching design and thoughtful fabric choice, this knit introduces a new wardrobe essential.
sulvam's shirt is made from smooth Tencel yarn in plain weave, producing a natural drape that follows movement.
It works well both as a standalone piece and layered under a jacket, offering versatile use.
The chest pocket features a deliberately slanted welt design (a tailored finish used mainly for pockets, hems, and buttonholes, in which edges are wrapped with fabric or tape for decoration or to prevent fraying), adding movement to the traditional formal detailing.
White shirts are often used as inner layers due to their high versatility, and not many people use them as the main piece in their outfit.
However, the bold chest pocket design on this shirt elevates its presence as a standalone item in styling.
The hem and cuffs are left raw and finished with stitching, allowing them to slightly fray with wear and washing, enhancing the texture of the lyocell fabric.
The slightly dropped shoulder seams and generous width create an air layer, making it comfortable to wear even in humid seasons.
Additionally, lyocell has high moisture absorbency, quickly wicking away sweat to help regulate body temperature.
When worn, it felt incredibly smooth against the skin, to the point where wearing an inner layer didn’t feel necessary.
Despite its relaxed silhouette, the length is not overly long, making it easy to balance both tucked in and untucked looks.
Pairing with slacks gives a more mode-like style, while pairing with denim creates a more relaxed look.
Sarouel Pants in Luxurious Wool Gabardine and Lace-Up Boots with Unique Ankle-Wrapping Design
These sarouel pants combine a deep rise with tapered legs.
The large welted out-pockets near the hips are constructed with panels that sway as you walk, creating a dynamic, three-dimensional silhouette.
Asymmetrical tailoring—typical of sulvam—and deliberately shifted center seams offer generous volume from the hips to the thighs, tapering gently below the knees to achieve a balanced silhouette of fullness and sharpness.
Tucking in your top accentuates the drapes at the waist, while layering with oversized shirts adds fluidity, expanding styling options.
The drop-crotch design provides wide mobility, making these pants comfortable for everyday wear—even when crouching.
The hem is neatly finished with a single visible stitch line, giving it a minimal appearance.
Pairing with low-cut canvas sneakers leaves the ankle exposed, adding a light, relaxed feel to the outfit.
Conversely, pairing with boots creates a gentle fold where the hem touches the vamp, adding just the right cushion and a smooth drape without bulk.
The luxurious texture of wool gabardine fuses with the relaxed sarouel shape, elevating it to a wardrobe essential.
The featured styling includes wrap-around lace boots by Ann Demeulemeester.
Given the statement design of the knit and pants, understated boots were chosen to ground the look.
The uppers are crafted from thick Italian calf leather.
They may feel stiff at first but quickly mold to your feet, offering long-wearing comfort without pressure.
The round toe provides ample toe room, and the slightly wide width ensures a comfortable fit even for high insteps.
The approximately 11cm block heel is made of durable stacked leather.
Stacked leather, crafted by compressing and layering thin pieces of leather, softens the heel-to-toe drop and subtly boosts height while maintaining a natural slope.
The long laces wrap around the ankle, allowing fine-tuned tightness and adding a unique design accent while improving stability during walking.
A side zipper allows easy on/off without retying the laces.
The outsole combines leather and abrasion-resistant rubber, with rubber sections placed at high-wear areas like the outer heel and toe for grip and durability.
The insole features a full-length cushion pad that absorbs the impact of the block heel and reduces foot fatigue.
